Review highlights

Based on 517 reviews

Cantinho Gourmet is frequently praised for its welcoming atmosphere and attentive, friendly service. Reviewers often highlight the restaurant’s suitability for casual lunches or relaxed evenings with drinks and tapas. The food is consistently described as flavorful and well-prepared, with particular appreciation for light lunch options and unique beverage offerings such as tropical sangria and liqueur shots. While some find the pricing slightly higher than typical local establishments, this is generally accepted given the quality and location. Cleanliness and efficient service are common positives, contributing to an overall pleasant and comfortable dining experience in Sintra.

A simple yet decent restaurant for a lunch while in Sintra. We wanted something a little lighter given our dinner was to be heavy. The service was great, really unique toilet/washroom (clean) and overall a nice lunch break. We had the duck salad and smoked salmon sandwich.

delicious food and efficient service; “faster than mcdonald’s!” (quote the staff) and it was! pricing was a little dearer compared to rest of portugal but that might just be the alpine tax (not actual tax). friendly service and the woman working there was lovely!

This is the best place to relax and have a dark chocolate cherry liqueur shot with your favorite person. Staff is excellent and they have fantastic customer service.

Thoroughly enjoyed our lunch here, fresh ingredients, tasty, excellent service and very friendly staff. It's a small restaurant and wine shop located at the top of a steep pedestrian alley (Beco de Judfaria). I would recommend this restaurant!

Excellent food in this hidden garden. Especially the charcuterie board. The sandwiches were also awesome. The ginjinha in the chocolate cup is nice. The sangria was also very refreshing. Service was also very kind and quick. They speak English perfectly. It's also for a good price.

Hidden at the corner of a street in the town centre this is a brilliant place. It's a little difficult to spot but they have lots of space inside. It's basically a shop and restaurant. Order the cheese and meat board which they serve with jams. The fig jam was heavenly so we ordered some more. End your meal with some ginjinha and have fun
